Gearing Up

*** I have been reading & trying to comment on my fellow Blogger.com'mers today, but the word verification won't pop up!! GRRRRRR! Sorry, I will try again later on.

Oooo Baby! I just got my daughter off to school and I am ready to tackle this day! (God, I love coffee! LOL) I had a craaaappy day yesterday, feeling like poop with TOM and all, so today is a refreshing turn for the better.

Well, with the exception of a couple of minor details, everything is in the works for my next P2. I took inventory this morning and I have (2) 5000-IU vials of hCG, 40+ insulin syringes, a couple of greatbig 12-mL mixing syringes, one clear 30mL vial, one vial of bac water (I thought I was out! Yay!!), 100 or so alcohol prep pads and a whole bunch of luer-lock 3mL syringes left over from my very first P2. I've since learned that investing in luer-lock syringes is a waste of money, since the darn things are supposed to be used with disposable needles! Grrr... Oh well. I'm saving them for a rainy day, in case I happen to run out of the other. I do need to procure, before too long... more bac water, another couple-few empty vials and a food scale. Somewhere in my adventures this past year or so the darn thing disappeared. Double Grrrrr!

On the upside, I found my indoor grill!! :D **Happy Dance!** I should also get ahold of a decent digital camera. I have a 2 megapixel camera on my phone, but I'd like one with a date-stamp. I know that everyone reading my blog is pretty bright, so if y'all have any ideas where I can find this stuff... uhhh ... cheap... - lemme know! ;)

I did post a little blurb on my MySpace about starting the protocol. I haven't given any details yet, but I am going to let my friends and family in on this round. I've done it once and succeeded despite myself, and if anyone in this world knows how well I sabotage my own success - it's my friends and family! Pffft... But honestly, I deviated and messed around a lot during my first P2 and still lost over 20 pounds. I am living proof that if this protocol worked for me, it can work for anyone! I know a lot of people that would benefit dramatically from Dr. Simeons' protocol, and it is my hope that they will see my experiences and successes and want it for themselves.

I'm off to do some more poking around! Hasta luego ~*~

Hi Amy, I have that same problem with blogspot's word verification. Really strange! But on your blog, it seems to work correctly, as I am posting this message right now!

Thanks for your comment on my blog, with the good advice. That is really helpful.

I noticed that in your post, besides the positive attitude, you are also a littlebit self critical. I sometimes, of course, have that as well, and have to get myself looking into the right direction. This mental thing is sooo important. So please try to stay on the positive side of the equation because the other side will not help you a bit. You are taking your fate in your own hands, you decided that HCG is the best thing to do right now, and how difficult you sometimes may find it, you are doing. this! Secondly you are sharing it, and that might be a very helpful thing to do for others. So, what I am trying to say is, that there are so many things to be positive about. And when you succeed, that just TOTALLY ROCKS!

Cheers!

I am starting the 2nd week of HCG and I'd like to get to know some people who are also doing the diet. I have lost 12.5 pounds so far. I've had a really hard time not grieving the foods I once loved. I'm excited to hear about your experience.

Thank you so much for your comment. I really would love people to read my blog and give me pointers and support. I just haven't invited any friends and family to it so I can write my feelings freely. Please come back and I hope I can get a support group through this blog. Thank you so much again. I appreciate your words. My doctor gave me a list of foods that he allows in the diet and yams were part of it but I will get the book and be more strict about it and hopefully I'll get better results.

Thanks!!!

Listen I really want to know two things. Does HCG really work and where can I get it in the US without paying some doctor who I'm never going to see $2,000 that I don't want to spend?
