I took a break over the holiday ... cuz I know me. lol

I just got my hcg today, so that's cool!! I just have to order some more bac water and stuff. Bac water is relatively hard to find now. :P But anywho's ... I'll be starting up again later this week.

Any loss is a good loss! Especially when the BF made ribeyes last night! Oy. But that's all I ate for dinner, and it wasn't until after 9 p.m. when we got home ... So not too shabby considering.

P2R2D10 - VLCD Day 8

Rrrrrrrrrrg. Having a VLCD meltdown today.

I just went through my cupboards and threw away every single chip and cookie in my house. All this crap is not helping the effort.

At least I'm just stalled. It's even more irritating because I could be in the low-mid 150's by now and it's my fault I'm not. I think I may have some form of OCD or something - it's like I don't even realize I'm eating chips until they're IN my mouth.

Sigh. Start again.

P2R2D9 - VLCD Day 7

I am more convinced than ever of the VITAL part water (along with coffee and tea - at least in my case) plays in this protocol. By all rights and means, I should not have lost this much due to the deviations I've made from the VLCD. But - I've kept my water intake over 2 liters every day along with 3-5 cups of coffee and still lost. I'm not saying that my good fortune will continue if I don't get my act together, but at least at this early stage of the "game" I've still been able to lose.

So yesterday I ate my egg and mushroom concoction - not too shabby. Then, I picked up my daughter and made her dinner. *blinkblinksmile* Things went downhill from there.

So again - not a perfect day, and I still lost over half a pound. My luck won't continue to be this good, but I'm thankful for now. My menu thus far today:

B: strawberries and coffee
L: 1 egg + 2 whites and about 2 cups (one large handful) of baby spinach seasoned liberally with Herbamare.

This is another reason I wish nay-sayers would check their facts. We can eat two cups of organic baby spinach (according to the package) and only consume ten calories. I don't know about you, but two cups of spinach pretty well fills me up. Then add your protein, fruit and grissini if you so choose, and I don't see how I'm so malnourished. Ah, well. Those that really want to know will figure it out. ;)

That's pretty much it for today! I'll be making the rounds after I bring my dog in for her shots. :P

Ha HA! Take that, fatpants! You know what ... I ate at McDonald's yesterday, too. LOL I hate to admit that, but I did. I think my body is just tired of hanging on to all this water after the surgery and stuff. That, and Joey and I worked some things out yesterday and today. We'll see if it sticks, but at least the conversation happened. So hopefully - less stress from now on.

So far today I've had coffee, water, 1 egg + 2 whites seasoned with salt, pepper and Herbamare ... with 3 large button mushrooms. Not on protocol, but I'm going to see how well I do with them. Everyone is different, and I'm a firm believer that while the protocol, when followed implicitly, will work for everyone .. I do believe that there are *some* fruits/veggies/meat that will still allow an individual to lose.

I just spoke with Brandi - and despite having dinner at her boyfriend's parents' house last night ... she still lost another half-pound! If I'm keeping track correctly, that's a total of 8 pounds! You go, girl!!
